Botox, or Botulinum Toxin, and Daxxify are popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment aimed at reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily relaxing facial muscles. Botox Cosmetic is a clinically proven and effective way to improve wrinkles and signs of aging on the face. It is a purified protein that is derived from clostridium botulinium bacteria. With a few small needle injects you can quickly see softening and prevention of the signs of aging.

Botox Cosmetic is injected into the muscles that cause wrinkles. Botox then weakens the muscle and reduces the wrinkles in the overlying skin. Typically, Botox lasts for about two to four months. Also, when injected appropriately Botox can be use to raise the eyebrow to make the eyes appear larger. This creates a nonsurgical brow lift.

For most patients, Kybella is performed in a series of 2-4 treatments spaced out by a month. It typically takes 4-6 following the final treatment for complete results. There is minimal downtime following each treatment.

We know that as we age we lose a teaspoon of volume in our face every year. We have the tools to fight this cause of aging with a nonsurgical approach. Dr. Shipp uses all hyaluronic acid fillers to make you look more youthful.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components that supports your skin. As you age hyaluronic acid along with collagen and other important molecules degrade causing sagging. The molecule itself is made to absorb water. Therefore, its natural job is to cause plumping and building volume.

All the hyaluronic acid fillers we use are FDA approved safe for rejuvenation of the face. The product is derived from a bacteria and allergic reactions are extremely rare. Also, these fillers are completely dissolvable if needed which adds to its safetly profile.

After a treatment you will see some results but with most of these fillers the final results are seen a month after the treatment. This allows for a gradual improvement which helps patients tailor the treatments to optimize results.

Microneedling is an in-office procedure that takes advantage of your body's natural response to healing to increase collagen and elastin in your skin. What can it be used for:

We use a microneedling device that allows a penetration into the dermis of the skin which stimulates rejuvenation. Over the counter devices do not penetrate to the appropriate depth to optimize cosmetic results.

Yes. The chemical peel we offer is used to improve signs of ages such as fine lines but more specially target melasma. Melasma is a darkening of the skin which can be caused from aging, sun damage, and hormones. We recommend a series of three peels spaced a month apart.

NO SHOW POLICY

Please note that beginning October 23, 2023, in order to keep our office running smoothly, we will require all Dermatology & MedSpa patients to have a card on file. We will require a 24-hour notice when rescheduling. Anything after 24 hours is considered a NO SHOW and your card will be charged.

Any NO SHOW appointments for a Dermatology visit will be charged a $50.00 fee. Any NO SHOW appointments for the MedSpa will be charged half of the scheduled service.
