ABOUT WHITNEY

Whitney Roberson Crow grew up in Indianola, Mississippi. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Delta State University in 2009. Following graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Delta Regional Medical Center and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In 2011, she began the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Mississippi University for Women and graduated in 2012. She decided to return to school in 2019 and complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Mississippi University for Women in 2021, where she was awarded the Research Award two years in a row. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing. From the time she became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012, she has worked in rural family medicine. She moved to Water Valley in 2013 and has had the opportunity to serve the communities of Ruleville, Coffeeville, and Water Valley during her time as an FNP. In June of 2023, she began her journey into dermatology. As a provider, Whitney strives to develop a relationship with her patients and to provide them with the best care possible. She is excited to serve the patients of DAO. In her free time, Whitney enjoys spending time with her husband, Shannon, and their 3 children, Lottie, Zola, and Ryan. She also enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and shopping.
